The 1st Panettone World Tour

On Thursday, February 3, 2022, San Biagio Day, the first edition of the Panettone World Tour, created by the Panettone World Cup to promote the world's most famous Milanese cake, will take place. Viva panettone is proud to be selected to participate in this international event.

The date was not chosen by chance. Indeed, according to rural tradition, on the morning of February 3, the family must have breakfast with the last piece of Christmas panettone. The cake is then attributed with "miraculous" properties. On the occasion of this anniversary, the Viva panettone team invites its customers to come and taste a free slice of panettone at its premises located at 8248 rue du Creusot in Montreal, between 10 am and 2 pm, on Saturday, February 5.

Interviews, videos, visits: discover behind the scenes with master pastry chefs

During the World Tour, you can visit the workshops of master pastry chefs from 14 countries around the world, live, from East to West, in different languages, with interviews, videos, and many curiosities. Sourdough, dough, shaping, proofing, baking, and cooling, secrets and tips about Panettone will be the topics discussed during the meetings, to be followed on the Facebook/YouTube pages of CMPanettone.

A gastronomic journey to spread the culture of this unique product

The Panettone World Tour is a gastronomic journey that aims to spread the culture of this unique product, born in Milan but crossing national borders.

Mastro Piff, creator of the Panettone World Cup, will present the virtual event, alongside journalist Livia Chiriotti from Pasticceria Internazionale.

The live broadcast will start from Melbourne, Australia, at 8:30 am Italian time, and will then travel from East to West, passing through Japan, Italy, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Canada, the United States, and Brazil.

This unique event aims to create synergies and a network among artisans and masters who share the same passion and who can connect with experts from all over the world.
